Typical applications for cleaning of industrial components

The cleanliness of work pieces produced in industrial manufacturing processes, mainly prior to final assembly, is continuously gaining in importance.
This is especially true for:

  • Drive trains
  • Electrical industry
  • Automotive parts (VDA 19)

We will gladly conduct a professional residual dirt and cleanliness analysis on your cleaned work pieces per standards VDA 19 and ISO 16232.

Because of stringent quality requirements, in today’s industrial environment the expenses for the process stage cleaning/washing of work pieces amount to 10 – 20% of the overall manufacturing costs. And in the future this percentage will even be higher.

Rösler Oberflächentechnik offers a complete range of different cleaning systems:

These machine types can be employed for a variety of cleaning tasks:

  • Degreasing
  • Washing prior to or after mass finishing or shot blasting processes
  • Passivation
  • Washing in order to meet residual dirt specifications (particle count / gravimetric analysis, for example per standard VDA 19)

The cleaning effect is achieved by special water-based alkaline cleaning compounds, which we developed in our own chemical lab or through close cooperation with outside chemical companies. The limits regarding the specified residual particle amounts and sizes are achieved by the utilization of suitable washing and filter technologies. Besides manual/semi-automatic washing machines Rösler also offers fully automatic cleaning systems, which can be linked with a range of other manufacturing steps, including but not restricted to mass finishing or shot blasting.
