Flow Finisher - A New Technology for Mass Finishing Applications

 

 

 
             

 

With the Flow Finishing system Rösler has developed a unique mass finishing system with high performance, high flexibility, little space requirements and a high degree of automation.

It can be used for the deburring, surface grinding, polishing, edge breaking and de-greasing of small, flat components up to larger parts of different shapes, made from different materials. The Flow Finisher is ideal for surface finishing of delicate, thin-gauge parts which tend to bend or warp.
In this unique mass finishing system parts and media are tumbling over each other in the work chamber, which is formed by a continuous belt. The intensity of the finishing process for different parts can be adjusted by the variable belt speed and the use of different grinding or polishing media.

Another feature is the chaverschiedene Werkstueckenge of media: By reversing the
direction of the belt, media and parts are
quickly and completely unloaded.

Since the flow finisher does not emit any vibrations, it can be installed in the direct vicinity of machine tools. It can actually be linked with machining centers with various material handling systems for fully automatic operation. Automatic transfer of the finished parts to a drier is also possible.
