- Back to overview

Milestone for the Rösler Group in the Asian region: together with the HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology)-Wuxi Research Institute, China, Rösler China has now opened its first ever Customer Experience Center. "Sustainable development meets company’s Long-term goal. A wonderful day for Rösler," said Yiling Sun, General Manager of Rösler China.

The opening of the joint innovation center was preceded by intensive talks after first getting to know each other in 2020. Finally, Rösler China and HUST-Wuxi Research Institute agreed on a strategic cooperation to build a joint innovation center. After more than a year of careful preparation, the Customer Experience Center has now been officially put into operation. It covers an area of around 100 square meters and is equipped with Rösler equipment from the areas of shot blasting, vibratory finishing and AM post processing.

Thanks to the cooperation and the new CEC, Rösler can offer its customers a more flexible and better technical service, for example by test processing customer parts, and thus provide even more precisely fitting surface solutions. In return, the HUST-Wuxi Research Institute will receive professional advice on surface processing in the aerospace sector to promote the transfer of scientific research results and the training of innovative talents.

More than 50 customers from the aerospace, automotive, medical, communications and additive manufacturing industries attended the grand opening of the joint innovation center on June 14. Guests discussed the possibilities of surface finishing in the automotive, medical and aerospace sectors, the use of advanced process equipment in surface processing, and the post-processing of parts manufactured using 3D printing. The panel also spoke in general terms about the future development priorities of the surface finishing industry. The guests then visited the Rösler Customer Experience Center for advanced surface finishing technology, and the Rösler team gave a detailed presentation of the facilities there.

"We have received a lot of positive feedback from the customers and also from colleagues from Rösler China who visited our innovation center. We believe that the CEC is a good tool for Rösler China to develop even greater business potential in the local market. Thank you to everyone who celebrated the opening with us. We look forward to further cooperation with HUST-Wuxi Research Institute," said Yiling Sun, General Manager of Rösler China.
