The program includes cartridge filters, explosion protected cartridge filters and wet dust collectors. The residual clean air dust load of <1mg/Nm³ achieved with Rösler cartridge dust collectors is well below the legal limits of 3 – 5 mg/Nm³ in Germany. For this reason, additional fine or post (police) filters are not required. Because of the low residual dust load the clean air from the dust collector can be returned into the building without any restrictions. The capacity in terms of air volume extends from 1,000 to 25,000 m³/h (590 – 14,600 cfm). The filter cartridges are easily accessible and can be quickly replaced. The differential pressure switch allows cleaning of the cartridges by a compressed air burst at regular intervals, which considerably extends the cartridge life. For foundry applications Rösler offers special sand resistant cartridges. A special coating makes them less susceptible to wear from the fine sand in the dust-loaded air. They all enable particularly targeted and reliable blasting of single components in one-piece flows in chambers, in specially separated segments, or on satellites. In order to avoid idle time as a result of individual part processing, in some of the systems, it is possible to process work pieces in the blast chamber and simultaneously load and unload other work pieces in a separate area. The RST satellite table blast machine and the RWK swing chamber blast machine offer this process advantage. The systems are suitable for stand-alone operation or, depending on the system type, can be integrated into production lines (RWK/RST). These systems are used for shot peening, deburring, cleaning, roughening, and homogenizing surfaces. SHOT BLASTING Preservation lines Set up is individually configurable Teflon coating in the interior of the paint system for easy cleaning Overspray reduction through sensor scanning of the work pieces Effective brush pre-separation system Hot air recycling Safety monitoring for solvent-based paints Preservation lines A preservation line is a highly complex, individually configured surface treatment system that fully automatically pre-heats, derusts, and descales and then applies a temporary corrosion protection – the welding primer – to steel. Preservation lines can take on enormous dimensions. They are used where large quantities of steel sheets or profiles have to be processed (e.g. in shipyards, steel trades, or rolling mills). The main component of the preservation line is a roller conveyor blast machine. Various components are then installed upstream and downstream. In conjunction with an additional upstream blow-off station, the heated pre-heater allows the processing of damp and cold steel parts that have been stored outdoors. Depending on the application and local conditions, roller conveyors, chain conveyor systems, cross conveyor systems, or the like can be used as transport systems. Once in the shot blast machine, the heart of the preservation line, the work pieces are derusted and descaled using high-performance turbines. A primer coat is then applied in the automated paint system. This coating is dried by the downstream dryer to such an extent that the work pieces can be removed immediately at the outlet of the line for further processing without damaging the coating. Spinner hanger blast machines are generally used in the foundry or forging industry as well as in steel construction, where heavy or large-volume work pieces as well as solid steel parts need to be processed. These are hung on fixtures and, depending on the type of system, processed in the machine in batches or in a clocked or continuous throughput process by means of a rail system. Depending on the design, spinner hanger blast machines can be equipped with up to 20 Gamma 400 G turbines as standard. Blast cabins made of up to 10 mm thick manganese steel ensure maximum stability and optimum wear protection. A patented, multi-layer ceiling seal guarantees almost 100% tightness by means of brushes and rubber segments. RHBE spinner hanger blast machine Spinner hanger blast machines are highly flexible and characterized by their particularly compact and space-saving design. Depending on the requirements, the systems can be equipped with a wide variety of transport systems. The single-rail guides the hook directly into the blast cabin. With the open Y-track, two trolleysaree alternatively moved into the blast chamber for processing while the other hook can be loaded. The closed Y-track allows two hangers to be moved through a loop in front of the system. Inside the blasting chamber of the batch system, the parts are processed in a rotational and oscillating motion adapted to the work piece. fact sheet brochure RHBD continuous feed spinner hanger blast machine The RHBD-T continuous feed spinner hanger blast machine is essentially a spinner hanger blast batch machine with two doors to allow the linear flow of parts through the machine, while still allowing extended blast cycle times. The T-design of our continuous feed spinner hanger blast machine is particularly suitable for the processing of large, heavy work pieces not suitable for tumbling. The transport system of the RHBD-T is freely configurable – from manual to fully automated operation. The overhead conveyor is also available as a RHBD-K continuous feed spinner hanger blast machine. In the K version, continuous feed spinner hanger blast machines are particularly suitable for the throughput of high quantities and large, solid work pieces. Depending on the type of system, thin sheet metal plates up to massive steel profiles weighing several tons can be processed. The largest systems allow optimal processing of work pieces up to 6,000 mm in height and up to 5,000 mm in width. During processing, the work pieces pass through the pre-chamber, blast cabin, and post-chamber of the system – either one after the other or in batches on a roller conveyor. Depending on the type of system, shot blasting is carried out with precisely positioned blast turbines equipped with energy-saving motors. The blasting result is all-round, comprehensive, and always reproducible. Roller conveyor blast machines can be easily integrated into existing production lines. Despite their sometimes considerable size, the systems are easy to maintain because the components can be conveniently reached through large access openings and inspection platforms. RRB roller conveyor blast machine The classic roller conveyor blast machine is unsurpassed in its versatility.
